In one of his college engineering classes, Jackie Crutcher had to design a set of house trusses by hand. “I thought to myself, ‘If I ever get out of this class, I will never look at another truss as long as I live.’”
Wilson Lumber improves training approach after hiring women
We recently added a truss plant in Westmoreland, Tennessee, about an hour and a half north of Nashville and about three hours north of our original Wilson Lumber plant in Madison, Alabama.
Wilson Lumber signed a lease for the 30,000-square-foot space in the Westmoreland Business Center and intends to launch a portion of the business in February 2019.
