2022 Best Workplace

Wilson Lumber has been named a 2022 Best Workplace by the Best Workplaces Institute.

The Best Workplace designation is given to companies that have a healthy workplace culture, as determined by an anonymous, voluntary survey of employees.

“We have taken the Best Workplace survey for several years, and each year we use the results to improve the health of our workplace culture,” said Robb Wilson, President of Wilson Lumber. “The feedback we receive from our employees on this survey is what drives our direction and next steps on how we become a better place to work.”

The Best Workplace certification is based on eight factors: Fantastic Teams, Life-Giving Work, Outstanding Talent, Uplifting Growth, Rewarding Compensation, Inspirational Leadership, Sustainable Strategy, and Healthy Communication.

The Wilson Lumber workforce is made up of more than 300 employees at locations in North Alabama and central Tennessee.
